LTAC Committees

LTAC offers many opportunities for service and leadership.  Personal interests can translate into professional contribution that enhances the organization and its membership. The following is a list of LTAC committees, with current members and a brief summary of purpose.

Legislative Committee

The Legislative Committee is most active during the Colorado General Assembly session. They track and monitor legislation affecting title insurance issues and real estate transactions in general. The Legislative Committee works closely with Colorado regulators to ensure that LTAC's voice is heard in the process of implementing statutes and regulations.

Membership/Web Site Committee

The Membership/Website Committee leads communication and outreach efforts for LTAC.  They not only manage and design the website, they also engage in  direct mail recruitment campaigns designed to increase awareness of LTAC and the benefits it offers to members.

 

Awards Committee

The Awards Committee recognizes outstanding contributions of land title insurance professionals.  Awards are given annually at the convention banquet, and honor two categories of professionals:  Outstanding Young Title Person of the Year, and the Outstanding Achievement Award, open to all title professionals.
