The Membership Committee of the Land Title Association of Colorado would like to invite you to join fellow title professionals and become an LTAC member. One of the Committee's goals for 2007/2008 is to increase LTAC participation among title professionals, by providing information and resources necessary in today’s competitive environment.

As the leading trade association representing the interests of the land title industry in Colorado, LTAC has been on the frontlines of many legislative battles. While it may not be readily apparent as you conduct daily business, the work of LTAC has had a positive impact on the title industry in Colorado, by representing local companies and underwriters alike. Here are a few examples:

• LTAC actively engages the members of the State Legislature on many issues regarding Real Estate, the settlement process and Title Insurance.
• LTAC ensured that banks that sell title insurance are subject to the same regulations as every other title agent.
• LTAC offers education opportunities through the Colorado Title Institute. The School offers varying topics to meet all your educational needs.
• LTAC sends a newsletter eight times a year to keep you up to date on issues that affect our industry.
• LTAC provides a membership directory to its members. The directory is a valuable resource for both member referrals and consumer business.
