William Burding, Jr. NTP

William Burding Jr. NTP is executive vice president and general counsel for Orange Coast Title Company and its Family of Companies. In addition to his legal responsibilities, he is a member of the company's Executive Committee and oversees its Nevada operations, which are among the state's largest providers of title related services. Prior to joining Orange Coast Title in 1998, William was the chief operating officer and general counsel for a Colorado-based title company specializing in large multi-state commercial transactions. 

William is a member of the American Land Title Association's Board of Governors. He is chair of the association's Abstracters and Title Insurance Agents Section Executive Committee, serves on the Government Affairs Committee, Best Practices Executive Committee and Information Security Committee, and is past chair of the Title Industry Political Action Committee. He earned ALTA's National Title Professional Designation in 2017. William also is active in numerous state land title associations, including the California Land Title Association, where he was awarded the 2010 and 2016 President's Awards for outstanding contribution to the California title insurance industry. 

He graduated cum laude with a bachelor's degree in Political Science from Whittier College and received his juris doctorate from Loyola Law School-Los Angeles. A frequent lecturer and author in various publications, William is licensed to practice law in California and Colorado. 


David Floyd


David Floyd is the Chief Operating Office for NextAce Corp, the title industry’s leading provider of automated title examination and title report production software.  David joined Nextace in March of 2017 after 15 years as President of SKLD Information Services, LLC, one the nation’s premier title plant providers located in Denver, Colorado. 

David’s work history includes positions in Manufacturing and Banking, focused on process re-engineering and automation in a wide variety of disciplines including bank operations, payment processing, mail handling and customized metal manufacturing. 

David received a B.S. degree in Computer Information Management from Metropolitan State College in Denver.  David resides in Parker, CO and in his spare time enjoys playing keyboards in several local bands, traveling, and fly-fishing. 


Odeta Kushi

As deputy chief economist for First American Financial Corporation, a leading provider of title insurance, settlement services and risk solutions for real estate transactions, Odeta Kushi prepares analysis, commentary and forecasts on trends in the real estate and mortgage markets.

Kushi conducts research around demographic trends, millennials and homeownership. She also monitors and analyzes quarterly surveys and economic data related to the housing industry. Her research has been published in leading business and industry trade publications, such as Business InsiderHousingWire and Inman Newsand she is a guest on high-profile broadcast news channels, including Bloomberg and CNBC.

Kushi graduated from Northeastern University with a master's degree in Applied Economics, specializing in microeconomics and applied econometric methods, and she earned a bachelor's degree in Economics from St. John Fisher College, in both cases earning the title of Summa Cum Laude. While originally from Albania, she now lives and works in the Washington, D.C. area.


Jerome Mayne

Jerome is the founder and CEO of Fraudcon, Inc. and Mayne Speakers, Inc.  Since 2001, he has been speaking and working internationally for dozens of professional trade associations and Fortune 500 companies on the topics of fraud and ethics.  He has appeared on numerous panels, radio shows and web-cast productions as a self-taught expert on the consequences of fraud.  Among others, he has been a contributing columnist for the California CPA Magazine, the National Mortgage Professionals Magazine and Fidelity National Title’s Fraud Insights.  He is also the author of the books, Diary of a White Collar Criminal and Mortgage Fraud and Predatory Lending – what every agent should know (Kaplan Publishing). 


Kenyon Salo

One of only five members of the Denver Broncos Thunderstorm Skydive Team, Kenyon Salo is seen each week flying into Broncos Stadium at 60+mph, ending with a soft tip-toe landing on the ten yard line. With over 6000 skydives under his belt and travels that have taken him all around the world, he’s determined to live life to the fullest and help others do the same.

Marvin Stone

Marvin Stone holds the position of SVP, Business Integration for Stewart. His is currently working on the digital transformation of the transaction process in partnership with industry associations and technology partners. Since joining Stewart in 2007, Stone has overseen a wide variety of technology, process and compliance initiatives across the direct, agency and centralized title divisions. Prior to joining Stewart, he served as CIO for a large, West Coast title company and held strategic positions with other national underwriters and mortgage lenders. Stone is a frequent speaker at industry events and shares industry trends on Twitter @marvinstone.
