Speaker Information

 

Perla Aparicio

Perla Perla Aparicio is the Vice President of Strategic Partnerships at paymints.io, a fintech company that provides a bi-directional payment software platform. She is passionate about driving high-level brand awareness and articulating the story of the company.

In her role at paymints.io, Perla is responsible for developing and executing the company's strategic partnerships. She works with a variety of partners, including title companies, lenders, and government agencies. She is also responsible for developing and executing the company's marketing and public relations campaigns.

Perla is a frequent speaker at industry events. She has spoken at ALTA One, ALTA Springboard, the Maryland Land Title Association convention, the New York State Land Title Association conference, and several webinars. She is also a regular contributor to industry publications.

Perla is a graduate of Texas Tech University and is an active member of the American Land Title Association (ALTA),  the ALTA Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee and the ALTA Registry Committee. Perla is passionate about the title industry and is committed to helping the industry grow and evolve. 

 

Joe Belongia

 

Joe has 30 years of experience in the title industry, 28 of those years working for the same company.   He is a member of Fidelity National Title Insurance Company’s Underwriting and Title Standards Committee, and a member of the Predictable Fees Committee, Legislative Committee and the Education Committee with the Land Title Association of Colorado.    

  

Kristen Boxberger 

I have been a resident of Logan County for over 20 years and the owner of Northeast Colorado Title since 2020. I am a Regional Director on the Colorado Land Title Association, a board member on the Logan County Chamber of Commerce, a previous member and past Executive Director of the Logan County United Way. I am currently serving on the School Accountability Committees at Sterling High School and the District Accountability Committee for RE-1 Valley Schools. Throughout the years, I have been involved with many committees and feel it necessary to give back to the community which supports us.

I have a bachelor's degree in Ag Business from Colorado State University gives me the necessary foundation to be a strong business and community leader. My time at CSU gave me a vision & strong desire for leaving things, places, and people better than when I found them. This is something I strive for every day and an example I try to set for my children and colleagues.

Scott Gustlin

Scott Gustlin runs Customer Success and Sales at Pythonic. His experience helping software companies grow and best serve their customers, employees, and partners has led him throughout the United States and Europe. While his career started in aerospace engineering (working on both the Space Shuttle and X-30 programs for NASA), he has spent the past 20+ years in the passionate pursuit of using technology to better Real Estate-related businesses with executive roles at Rezora, Adeptive Software, Qualia, and now, Pythonic.

When he takes time away from focusing on how to make Pythonic’s customers’, teams’, or partners’ jobs better, easier, and faster, Scott enjoys what life and Colorado have to offer with his family: skiing/snowboarding, mountain biking, hiking and working to tire out the family’s pair of Siberian Huskies.

Ted C. Jones

Ted C. Jones is the Chief Economist – Senior Vice President for Stewart Title Guaranty Company. Dr. Jones addresses the information needs of internal and external customers, conducts ongoing research, and supports economic and financial analysis for the company and its customers. Jones earned a PhD in finance with a minor in statistics and a master’s degree in land economics and real estate from Texas A&M University. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Colorado State University.   

Prior to joining Stewart, Dr. Jones served as chief economist at Texas A&M University’s Real Estate Center. An internationally recognized real estate expert, Dr. Jones has completed appraisals and property analysis in New Zealand, Australia, Canada, Mexico, United Kingdom, the Caribbean and the United States. He was chairman of the Houston Association of Realtors® in 2004, then the largest Realtor Association in the country.

 

Jamie Kosofsky

Get ready to rev your engines and meet Jaime, the thrill-seeking real estate expert with a passion for all things racing! With years of experience as an innovator and thought leader in the industry, Jaime is responsible for the firm’s business development and compliance. But before he made a name for himself in real estate, Jaime spent his early career working in various aspects of professional motorsports media, both in front of and behind the camera. He’s covered everything from IndyCar and NASCAR to USAC and countless other racing series. After earning his undergraduate degree from Indiana University and his law degree from Western Michigan University Thomas Cooley School of Law, Jaime moved to Charlotte in 1998 and began providing legal services to many of the same racing facilities, drivers, teams, manufacturers, and media members in the major national touring series for stock cars, open wheel, and sports car racing. His creative, innovative spirit has served him well in the real estate world, and he loves nothing more than hitting the open road on his bike or casting a line on a quiet fishing trip in his free time

Julia Reyburn

Julia is a seasoned business improvement professional, passionate about bringing disruptive benefits to consumers via technology. Julia has deep industry expertise in the title and real estate space after spending nearly 8 years at Redfin and its title subsidiary, Title Forward, where she held numerous roles encompassing strategy, program management, systems integration, training, and sales. She brings her change management and title industry experience to managing CertifID's implementation team, and her love of efficiency to managing customer operations. 

 

Dylan Roberts

Dylan Roberts represents Senate District 8 in the Colorado State Senate which encompasses  Clear Creek, Eagle, Garfield, Gilpin, Grand, Jackson, Moffat, Rio Blanco, Routt, and Summit  Counties. Senator Roberts serves as the Chair of the Agriculture & Natural Resources  Committee and as a member of the Judiciary Committee and the Local Government & Housing  Committee.  

Senator Roberts was elected to the Senate in 2022. From 2018-2022, Dylan served in the State  House representing Eagle & Routt Counties. His work at the legislature has focused on lowering  the cost of healthcare and prescription drugs, protecting our environment and water, funding  more affordable housing development, and promoting rural economic development. In 2019,  he wrote and passed the law that made Colorado the first state in the nation to cap the cost of  insulin and in 2022, he helped pass the largest single-year investment into affordable housing in  Colorado history. Prior to and during his service in the legislature, Dylan has worked as a  Deputy District Attorney for Eagle County. Dylan grew up in Routt County and now lives in Eagle County with his wife Sarah and their son Teddy.

 Michael Sherman

I was born in New Orleans, grew up in Louisiana and spent some time in Austin, Texas. I thought Austin was great until I moved, with my wife Lisa, to Boulder in 1996.  My three children were all born in Boulder, which I now call home.  I graduated from LSU and received my MBA from the University of Texas-Austin.  Working for Dell Computers and Schwinn bicycles gave me great breadth of experience.  Since 2012, I have been fortunate to work with a great group of people at 8z Title.  I love road cycling, mountain biking, hiking, camping, skiing, fly-fishing, dirt biking and sharing a good batch of gumbo with friends and family.

 

 Candi Slobodnik

Candi is the Central States Regional Manager and Underwriting Counsel for Agents National Title Insurance Company. Candi attended Northwest Missouri State University and graduated with a degree in Public Administration in 2004.  She graduated from Creighton University School of Law in 2007. Immediately following graduation she spent two years in private practice in Des Moines for a law firm dealing primarily in electronic discovery for hospitals throughout Iowa and Georgia.  Candi is a member of the Iowa Bar. She handled title claims for 4.5 years before moving into underwriting. She now assists agents throughout the Midwest with their underwriting and other needs.

Candi was the 2013-2014 co-recipient of the Young Title Person of the Year Award presented by the Missouri Land Title Association, the 2016 recipient of the Young Title Person of the Year Award presented by the Kansas Land Title Association and the 2018 Missouri Land Title Association Title Person of the Year, honoring her contributions to the title industry. Candi has also received the American Land Title Association National Title Professional designation as well as the Missouri Title Professional and Kansas Title Professional designations. Candi is licensed in the State of Iowa

  Wayne M. Stanley

Wayne M. Stanley is the owner of Bowe Digital, a marketing agency offering custom services for small businesses with hundreds of clients all around the United States.

 Wayne started Bowe Digital to provide marketing services to small businesses that needed innovative marketing content without breaking the budget. Under Wayne’s direction, Bowe Digital proudly services businesses of all shapes and sizes with branding, superior content, custom social media engagement, website creation and much more.

 Wayne is also part owner of Title Success – Powered by Bowe Digital. Title Success helps real estate title companies through the mergers and acquisitions process.  Wayne also owns Railroad Marketing, a turn-key marketing company for real estate professionals.

Prior to founding Bowe Digital, Wayne worked at the American Land Association (ALTA) in Washington, D.C.  While at ALTA, he helped to develop the Homeowner Outreach Program (HOP) and grew the Title Action Network and ALTA’s social media presence. As a testament to Wayne’s innovative ideas, he was named a Top Association Innovator in Washington, D.C., by BizNow.

 

Quinn Stufflebeam

Following in his father's footsteps, Quinn Stufflebeam began working in the family business at a young age. After earning a Bachelor's degree in Management from the University of Utah and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Arizona, Quinn returned to manage a county office in Twin Falls, Idaho. He went on to become the Idaho state president and currently serves as chief executive officer of Title Financial Corp. Quinn has continued to follow the expansion plan and in 2012 the company broadened its footprint into Wyoming.
