Visionary leadership is a requirement in order to keep up with the pace of change in today’s world. Managers need a leadership training program that helps them be agile, handle each situation differently, and provide their people with tools to succeed.
This simple management concept teaches both seasoned and new leaders how to create strong relationships with coworkers that have a meaningful impact. When this happens, employees are more productive and engaged. And their organizations excel.
The LTAC Management Development Program is offered every two to three years.
Class Structure: Students may take one or all classes. Student must complete all 4 classes to receive certificate of completion.
- Human Resources – Attracting, Engaging, and Retaining Talent Post Pandemic
- The First American Agency HR Team will be discussing the various people challenges companies are navigating in these unprecedented Covid-19 times. In this interactive session we will share innovative solutions and best practices for recruiting in competitive times, managing through The Great Resignation, leading a remote workforce and engaging and retaining top talent in a post pandemic world. And, of course, no HR education session is complete in current times without some discussion on the latest Covid-19 vaccination and testing mandates. - Strategic Planning and Budgeting - 1/2 day course during
- Strategic Planning will cover higher level management- what direction is company going and why? In this class you will take away a structure process with tools and processes to help you lead your organization in creating a strategic plan. As the plan is implemented, it will improve the long term performance of the organization and increase your chances of reaching its objectives. Having a strategic plan can also improve morale and motivation, strengthen the corporate culture, and guide your organization toward achieving its goals. . Budget will cover budget terminology/ reporting, etc. Learn the ins and outs of budgeting as well as current laws, practices and important terminology. Instructor: Neil Gulley

- Performance Development – 1/2 day course
- A Performance Development Plan is a flexible tool for improving employee performance. It can be used with your strongest performers to identify new ways in which they can contribute or with employees who are not meeting expectations. This type of plan is used to address performance issues that have been identified by the manager and communicated in an appraisal, performance-related memo or in conversation. In addition, a plan can be initiated by any self-motivated employee who wants to improve performance in a specific area. This class will train the manager to take the employee through the two part process of completing a Performance Development Plan. Part One leads the employee through a first draft, while Part Two covers the manager’s review, the manager-employee discussion, and an agreement to action, as well as establishing goals and setting appropriate expectations.
