Get Involved with LTAC!
Don’t miss your chance to join the Land Title Association of Colorado volunteer community. Sign up now for the opportunity to meet new people, take-away new ideas that will help you with your own professional development, develop a fresh skill and make a contribution to your industry, your profession and your community.
We are glad you are a member of LTAC. Now we hope you’ll join us as a LTAC volunteer. It’s enjoyable and it’s enriching. But as a very wise title industry executive once said, “you only get out of an organization what you are willing to put in.” Your time is valuable. LTAC understands and strives to make your service convenient and rewarding. If you have another idea on how you’d like to get involved with LTAC, but don’t see it here, just email us and let us know.
We have several committees:
- Convention Committee: The Convention Committee works with staff to plan, market, and run the annual convention. This includes developing the agenda, awards, and the golf tournament. The golf committee is a subcommittee of the convention committee.
- Education Committee: The Education Committee works with staff to plan the title schools in addition to webinars, online education and develop curriculum.
- Small Independent Agency Committee: A forum where both rural and small independent agents can discuss title and operational issues based on their needs. The goal is to increase communication and support between the Board and both rural and small independent agents.
- Industry Career Committee: This Committee works to develop a program to help engage interest from young professionals and students into the title industry.
- Legislative Committee: The Legislative Committee is most active during the Colorado General Assembly session. They track and monitor legislation affecting the title insurance industry and real estate transactions in general. The majority of meetings are by conference call, and members review different bills depending on their area(s) of expertise.
- Membership Committee: focuses on recruiting, retaining, and engaging members to ensure the association's growth and vitality. It develops strategies to demonstrate membership value, fosters relationships, and organizes initiatives to enhance member satisfaction and participation.
- PAC Committee: The PAC Committee helps to raise funds for the LTAC PAC (political action committee) and makes recommendations to the Board for contributions.
